You can call me Lo!
Lorna P.
Lorna is the founder of Studio Lo: Pilates on the Farm, where she blends her passion for movement with a clinically grounded understanding of the human body. Her teaching emphasizes neuromuscular control, functional movement patterns, and the integration of evidence based principles from kinesiology, rehabilitation science, and movement re-education.
Lorna holds a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University (2016). She is a Board-Certified and New York State Licensed Athletic Trainer, a Certified Pilates Instructor, a NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES). Her advanced credentials support her expertise in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization.
She is also trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), a myofascial technique she studied during her academic training, which improves soft tissue health and mobility.
Outside the studio, you’ll often find her toddler, Jamison, running around the family farm. Lorna and her high school sweetheart, Billy, have built a life rooted in love, hard work, and community.
